Expressions of interest

We are now accepting expressions of interest to speak at the 2026 NZVA and NZVNA Conference.

Submissions

The closing date for submissions is Monday 3 November 2025.

The following streams are accepting submissions for expressions of interest:

  • Companion animal
  • Complementary Veterinary Medicine
  • Dairy Cattle
  • Equine
  • Industry
  • Large Animal Veterinary Technicians
  • Lifestyle block
  • Sheep, Beef Cattle and Deer
  • Veterinary Business

You will be notified on the outcome of your submission by email on Friday 20 November 2025.

Expectations

A submission indicates you are available to present at at the NZVA and NZVNA conference between 23-25 June 2026 at the New Zealand International Convention Centre, Auckland

If your submission is accepted, please be aware you:

  • Are expected to provide deliverables, including a short marketing summary, a paper (expanding on your expression of interest submission) for proceedings and a presentation.
  • will receive complimentary registration for the day you are speaking
  • will be expected to fund your own travel
  • will not be entitled to a speaker fee
  • agree to have your paper published in the conference proceedings and potentially the related Special Interest Branch publication.
