Join us for an evening with animal behaviorist Mat Ward in Taranaki for an engaging talk.

Speaker

Mat Ward, a clinical dog and cat behaviourist, has helped thousands of pets and their guardians over the past 25 years. He recently published What Dogs Want, a fun illustrated handbook for dog owners. Early in his career, Mat earned his master's degree in companion animal behaviour from Massey University while simultaneously gaining practical experience working with problem dogs. Through the 2000s, he became a leading behaviour practitioner in Edinburgh, Scotland, earning the trust of over 120 veterinary clinics. On the television series Dogs Might Fly, Mat showcased the potential of rescue dogs and reward-based training, even teaching a dog to perform aerial fight-of-eight. Now based in New Zealand, he consults with clients globally online and locally in New Plymouth.
