Description

You are invited to a NZVA regional branch CPD meeting on the topic of Diagnosis and management of ocular emergencies presented by Dr Kellam Bayley, registered specialist in veterinary ophthalmology.

This talk will be structured entirely around case-based discussions of a variety of acute ocular presentations. For each case we will discuss the diagnostic steps, treatment planning and prognostic factors. The meeting will be fairly free-form and the cases covered will be time dependent, but planned topics include hyphema, proptosis, glaucoma, cat-scratch corneal laceration, orbital cellulitis and corneal ulceration.

We hope that this discussion will give you some more confidence when encountering these types of ocular conditions in your practice.
